Safe Work Australia’s WHS Prosecutions Dashboard has recently been updated to include the most recent publicly available data of criminal prosecutions for breaching WHS laws or regulations from 2023.

This dashboard provides a visualisation of data compiled from public reports of WHS prosecutions on available jurisdictions’ websites including details of cases, sentencing, and incidents.

Victoria is the only state to have seen its highest number of prosecutions from the past four years. “Failure to comply exposes a person to risk of death or serious illness/injury” represented the category with most prosecutions for the reporting period.
