The Skyline Education Foundation provides considerable support to high-ability students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This enables them to complete the final two years of their secondary education where they may otherwise have had to drop out to support themselves or their families. Many alumni are the first in their families to have received a high school certificate or gone on to study in university.
Greencap has proudly been involved with the foundation for a number of years, and is currently supporting an Indigenous student from Geelong through the foundation’s program for 2020/2021.
The Skyline program provides:
- Transformative learning experiences and personal development opportunities
- Support Framework
- Strong Network of likeminded peers
- Reimbursement of educational expenses incurred by students
This includes expenses such as school levies and fees, textbooks, uniforms, materials, academic requirements, travel, excursions, and more that would otherwise further impact families that are already disadvantaged. Learn more on the Skyline Education Foundation website.
Greencap and Cm3 Step Up for Skyline
For the next month, team members from across Greencap, including two full teams of Cm3’s expert WHS assessors, have stepped up to the Sweat For Skyline challenge. This involves reaching 10,000 steps a day for health, wellbeing, and raising awareness and funds for the foundation.
Every donation made to the teams are being matched by the company*. This will go towards making this meaningful support program available to more young Victorian students in the future.
To help support the initiative and help create social and economic value, donate via the special Sweat for Skyline page.
Stepping Up Across Australia
Cm3’s WHS Assessors are based all around Australia, and have been sharing photos from their walks and adventures out and about across the country.
